How goes it with the pre-op fast (they call it a diet but they have not done it!)?  Has the headache gone yet?

Well I am on day 7 and truly believe my Lord has a sense of twisted humor.  This restricted "diet" has really opened my eyes to how many commercials are about food, how great some things smell and how not drinking enough water can really make your intestines cry out for food!!  My surgery date falls on my birthday so no cake and also had to endure the family having a yummy looking Easter dinner while "enjoying" a shake, lol

Cannot say that I have had any major headaches though.  But I had already given up alot of carbs/gluten/sugar products for lent prior so that likely helped as the withdrawl wasn't as extreme.

Weighed myself this morning and since last Wed I have lost 10lbs.  Was actually able to take off my rings tonight - has been years so must not be retaining water as bad.

Go in on Thurs for weigh in and final check up so hope the scale continues to go down.  Still so much to do for work, packing etc before the big day and now time seems to be flying ... can say - surgery is next week ... scary but figure if I keep busy and be in lots of prayer then the nerves will be kept in check.  :)

Maybe I should go on the fast again!! 10 pounds is great! That is more than a pound a day. You will soon be racking up the NSV on a daily basis!

Good luck on your surgery!  Hope it all goes well!
You'll be on the other side soon enough, and you'll feel a million times better!
All the best!
