band failure

Is there anyone out there for whom the band was not successful?  What did the clinic tell you? Were you able to have a different surgery? The first band worked like a charm but then it slipped & the second band does not do anything for my hunger.

 I'm so sorry you're still having issues with the band.  Why not.. for the hell of it.. call Dr. Savoie's office and see what they tell you.  Since he does both, I'm not sure if he has done many revisions from band to sleeve.
There are a lot of people, it seems.. from speaking to them and forums and such -- that don't lose the hunger even with the sleeve.
Bands are so different.. because all of those hormones are still intact, and it must be so frustrating to be hungry and try to offset that by eating what little your band allows.

I do hope you find resolution to your surgery.  Just keep calling and fighting for whatever you think will help you along.  Call every second day.. even if you get the same response.... just keep fighting and hanging on girlie..
