- space out your shakes
-you will have a low sugar head ache for 3 to 5 days
-wait until 2-3 hours before bed to hae your last shake of the day
-go to bed early
-you can have  sugar free popcyles or other sugar free liquids, but not pop.
-drink lots of fluids to feel full.

No- it is the same head ache you get on the Aitkins diet. It is the severe drop on carbs that does it. It will go away in a couple of days....at least it does for most people. I have heard from a couple of people for whom it lasted until surgery.

Ok I am 6 weeks post op......and doing great. I found tha****er and lots of it helped me being hungry all the time I really chewed alot of gum and I found that drinking my boost nice and slow helped too. Also crushed ice I ate alot of it. Hope this helps you a little. It is all worth it in the end :)
