Nutrasystem & the band

Does anyone know if you can follow Nutrasystem with the band?

I don't know about any contra-indicators , but I have done nutrisystem and although I lost some, the food was not tasty or worth the money I spent. I regained what little I had lost, ( tried it before , having band) So I would not recommend them. However after doing WW many times with limited success, have finally done the on line weigh****chers and am doing so much better. Highly recommend WW on line. Which ever you choose , I wish you success.

Hi Kitty Mom - you know I'm not a bandster - but I noticed there has only been one reply to your question - so I thought - why not give my two cents worth. I would imagine that any weight loss program that is nutritionally sound - is OK to use, even if you have a lap band. Of course you would have the follow the regular rules that bandsters follow. Yes, Nutrisystem works, so does Weigh****chers, so does Herbal Magic. Heck - ALL diets work if you can follow them to the letter. The only thing I would want to be sure of - will I get adequate nutrition and hydration. If so - give it a try! Good luck.

The reason I was asking about Nutrasystem is because some diet products contain fiber that expands in the stomach.....or in the band is my concern. I have given up on that idea because different people have told me that it tastes terrible. I have looked at on line support sites & I am thinking about joining one  but  you can't tour the sites until you pay for 3 months & I would like to see before I pay.  Natalie called today  & I  have an appointment in 3 weeks. Maybe they can help me.

I don't know if this would help and you might be "shaked" out but I started taking "Bodybivi" shakes about a month and a half ago and they are really great.  I ordered the "Shape" kit and have two shakes a day plus my supper and depending on hunger I have my snacks.  I usually add frozen fruit to them too.

They taste great and with milk have 21g of protein but the best part is they are full of vitamins so the energy soars.   I even started running due to the energy I have which is amazing to me.
