Went black friday shopping this past weekend very hard to stay within calories we went to the olive garden and i actually ended up taking my meal to the hotel i was to full after salad and a bread stick. The last time I was there i ate like three bread sticks salad full meal and ate a supper later.

I was worried that the hotel did not have a gym but I think we walked more than 20 km even my hubby was exhausted. The second day we went to applebees which is great it has the calories on the menu but I did need to excuse myself the meat would not go down.

Came home last night and weighed myself this morning to find I lost 3.2 pounds this week I broke the 80 pound mark. It was hard to drag myself to the gym this morning but I am glad I did. I tend to be an all or nothing person it would be very easy for me not to excercise so I plan it into to everyday if I am tried I walk at least 30 mins. I am working hard to reach 90 pounds off by chirstmas . And to weigh below 200 by the end of April 2012. Since I was refilled in Sept I have lost almost 30 pounds the 10 I had gained plus an additional 19 .

I am trying not to focus on how long it has taken me to get where I am . It will be two years Dec 8 since my lap band and for those of you who know me I did not really lose for about a year due to health issues. I am grateful for this forum and the support I get from you all

Good for you girl! You are doing so great. I have to tell you that to this day when we eat out - I without fail take a good portion of my meal home. Which is great - because i get to enjoy the meal again and sometimes again! I LOVE Olive Garden - we are going to my parents in Florida for Christmas and Olive Garden is tops on the list for a nice meal out. I don't know if they still have it - but I have had seafood portifino there before - mussles, shrimp, scallops on a bed of alfredo pasta sort of thing. Protein rich - and SO yummy. Can't have more than a few bites of bread and a tiny but of salad - but still enjoy the meal so much. Congrats!

Thank you I always buy the seafood alfredo but have them replace the sauce with tomatoe sauce. It was great bringing it back to the hotel it was like eating there twice in one day.

so glad to hear you are doing so well. keep up the good work. I am doing well now that I have started walking everyday. I know without my band I would not be where I am today,--- healthy and happy. We are so lucky to live in a province that covers WLS surgery and has such excellent after care. Its great to hear how well you are doing.

I feel blessed to have had my surgery, the band has made it possible where I have failed before over the years I have spent thousands of dollars trying to find the majic diet or pill. Now I feel more healthy  and I eat food bought at the grocery store. My band with excercise has been what has helped this time. I still have days that I eat badly but I find they are less and less now the bad food just does not work the majic that it once did and since I have come off of hormone injections my body feels much better. And i find my eyes for once are bigger than my belly at times filling my plate with mouth watering food only to find I can not eat it all.

I really wanted to hit  100 off before Jan 1 but I have decided to focus instead on just losing each week or not gaining my goal is to be just under 200 so another 45 pounds by the 17 of April , 2012 thats when my  turns 19 I have not been  under 200 before I got pregant with her LOL. I did get down to 204 when she was 4 months old.  I have 20 weeks so we will see...it means an average of 2.25 lbs a week doable without going crazy:)
