Bet that got your attention...it's a long story...
I have recently started sewing again. I have always said that I am a better seamstress for other than for myself. Well, i recently discovered that all sewing patterns are made for a B cup. If you have ever seen me, the last time my girls were a B cup I was 11 years old. So the last 2 things i made i altered the pattern, but it didn't turn out perfectly. I was reading a sewing mag & was an article about making dressmaker forms (mannequins) out of duct tape. I decided to give it a try. So last night my daughter-in-law came over & mummified me in duct tape. The good news is that it worked great & looks just like me. . The bad news is that it looks just like I feared I looked. OMG! OMG! If i hang this sucker in the kitchen, I may never eat at home again!

Thanks but the picture is 20 or so pounds ago & not in the right direction! But I guess it will come off if and when this band decides to start working.
I have been sewing since I was 12, that's .....a long time ago! I sew like crazy for a while , like I am now. When I start to get bored, I move on to another craft, but I always come back to sewing. I have not been sewing since my band surgery. I always said to myself why bother, when it won't fit for long. The last few things I have made, I constructed them so they would be easy to take in.
