Worried and Anxious
Ok, it is neurotic me again. I have been a wreak and really anxious about my 2nd appointment this week with Dr. Savoie. I am glad that I was given the time, after my inital consult, to undertake comprehensive research of the Lapband and VSG procedures. I needed this to make an educated decision but I fear that something will happen and I will be rejected. I know that VSG will suit me best and it is the next stage for me in my journey towards life long health. It would kill me if I go and they decline me now. I guess I am still in shock that my first appointment was so positive and reaffirming that I am really scared that it won't happen.
I have been trying to make lists of questions to ask and ways to prepare for my next meeting. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? What should I expect?

Hey Run : )
There's no reason for Dr. Savoie to decline you on your 2nd appointment. When I went, it was a quick appointment. My 2nd appointment was to review which procedure we chose together, and sign surgery consent forms. That's it... simple!
Ask anything you believe is relevant, but you'll have a chance to talk to Dr. Savoie again the morning of your surgery.
Don't stress over this appointment. It's another step towards your surgery date.
My journey is listed on my profile, to help you along if you have any questions.
Wish you all the best!
