sugery done...back home

New beggining is right...I have to learn everything as if I had never drank or eaten before. It`s hard because I was always drinking or eating way to fast, and I`m learning quickly that there will be a lot of pain in my stomach if I keep going at a fast pace.

nope, none, just that it will be this fall. she said sept, oct 'ish.  but i wont believe it until im actually there waiting for the surgery to start :)

So you have already seen him and papers all signed? I know what you are going through, once everything starts it will be going way to fast. If there is one tip I can share....reduce the amount of food you are taking right now,  you`ll be much better for the 2 weeks on Meditrim, it won`t be as cruel. I`ll be praying that you get your surgery date ASAP.

are you getting the band or sleeve?

no, i have not seen him yet, and papers are NOT signed. heaven knows when it will happen. i called tthe office today to see if they have heard anything more about the provincial coverage and they have not.
she said i am still slated in for sept/oct.
i would like the sleeve but she said that it is up to the DR. based on his meetings with me, so what type i will end up with, im not sure

I hope that you get to see him soon enough. I know the wait time is not always easy. About the sleeve, Dr. Savoie doesn`t do it, he only does the band. My mom was on the list to see Dr.Savoie but when she found out that he was only doing the band she got transfered to Dr.Beausoleil.  Take care and you`ll see your day will come soon enough,
