gastric reflux

Had a long overdue fill on wed. and am finally starting to lose again,  I feel I am eating well and enough to satisfy me. No vomiting or PBing, but am having a lot of gastric reflux during the night, it is awakening me and my throat is becoming sore. I don't feel I need an unfill, but is there something I could take for the reflux? How common is this?

Hey there - sorry to hear about your reflux- I never had reflux til I had surgery- my first 6 months I had it so bad I could not sleep laying down- I thought omg please make this go away - I can not imagine not having it before surgery but now I will have this for life - nope it passed - but while it was at its worse I was on prevacid from the dr- it was a dissolve on tongue which was great at the time as I was not swallowing any pills - I took it twice a day.

Hope you get some relief and its shortlived!

Dont wait get help - mine resulted in horrible asthma attacks and two cases of pnemonia!

I called Lise at the clinic this am, and she is going to ask Dr. B to fax in to my pharmacist , a prescription, she says this is quite common. Be nice to sleep soundly again. Thanks for your input.
