I'm Back!

The orthotics have been ordered, the band has been re-positioned and the hernia repaired. As per the good Dr., will be able to get back to exercising in a couple of weeks.

Feeling pretty good right now; stiff and sore of course, but am able to get around really well. My band is a virgin again! lol!! Complete unfill for the surgery; I certainly hope this does the trick.

Good for you. I like you called your new band a virgin- I think I'll do the same because the old me certainly is f***ed!
How long were you at the hospital? Was it all the same as the first time around?
I hope the road remains as smooth for you.

The second time is exactly like the 1st time, onyly you know what to expect! I did stay longer this time but only because Dr. Beausoleil got called into an emergency surgery. He didn't sign me out till after 5.

My left shoulder hurts really bad today; I've got a hot pack on it right now.I forgot to ask if I will still need to take my Tecta now that the hernia has been repaired. Different this time as well because the kids are home. The 1st time they were in Halifax with their Dad. Getting up this morning and seeing them off to school was a bit of a drag, but I am going to go have a nap now!

Home again, home again jiggety jig! Glad you are home and all went well. Take care of yourself and be good to yourself. You'll be back in running form in no time!

Good to hear you are doing well. Your shoulder pain reminds me to ask for stronger meds this time.
