Thinking about surgery..how long to wait :)

Hi there. Just here to read everybodys posts. :) I asked my dr. to go on list this week. he said a 2 year wait to get into Dr. Savoie in Bathurst. i hear the waiting period is now 4 years. Anybody have any info on this?

I have been waiting 2 years this month and have at least another year before a consult.

referral sent March 2009/ Approval signed March 2013/Surgery May 2013

I waited 5 or 6 years I think. But there are two docs now and he was taking a lot of out of province back then. They changed the rules in 2008 so he started to see nd'ers first otherwise I may be still waiting. LOL
