Missed you all and sleeve update...
Hello all, I have to say I missed everyone and the updates and progress on here. I was taking a computer break because I was spending wayyy to much time on it! Anywho it is good to be back. For those who are still deciding on which surgery to choose, I thought I would give a sleeve update. I did write a bit of info on sunnie's post also. I am almost 5 months from my pre-op diet date. (oct 14) I have had a very good experience with the sleeve and even when I wanted a treat, my tiny sleeve only allowed for a bit which has been amazing. So I mostly stick to protein first to get in my requirement for the day, I also occasionally have a premier protein shake a day to supplement that. I know some of you have struggled with your tools but I have to say my sleeve has been effortless(no bragging intended) I am one of the lucky ones to have had no complications and no food sensitivities. I am thankful everyday for "control" that I never could have attained without my "tool" to help me. I am down 87lbs including pre-op and feeling wonderful. I still have a ways to go but now I have hope of a better and healthier life. My kids (three) are very excited to have a mom who can play and move with them and we are all looking forward to summertime. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask and my profile is public and has alot more details in my blog entries. Talk soon, Trish

This is awesome news and thanks for posting on my previous entry. I was overwhelmed at first but after reading yours and others posts, it seems the good *outweighs* (no pun intended lol) the bad. i am now slowly changing from scared to excited...im glad to read that you journey has been a good one overall. this seems to be a great place to meet friends and people who have and are going through the same things as i am. Some of those feelings can not be shared unless you have been in the same spot :)
Thanks for sharing your good news :) Wow keep up the good work, I know it will help us live healthier lives.. I`ve received the call about my surgery and I will have it in 6 weeks...I`m really excited and I do hope to be one lucky girl like you and not have that much complications!!!! Keep up the good work, and I`m sure the kids are amazed...mine are very young but they do understand that I will have a surgery and then I will be more active with them.
Talk to you soonm,
