changed surgery type

well i have too say with reading  here i talked it over with the doc and desided to have the gastic bypass done instead of the band , the stories of being sick all the time made it final for me. week 1 after the surgery and down 9 pounds , so getting started.

Have you found a doctor yet for your fill? I have the same issue...i got my surgery on oct 29, 2010 in Toronto and would like a fill but don't want to go that far.  I heard that someone in Sackville is doing fill but again it is 5 hours from where i live.  I would be happy if there is someone in Fredericton since it is only 3 hours from here! Let me know if you found someone ok

My experience with the band is definitely not typical. You have to remember, the success stories don't post here anymore. There are dozens & dozens of people who where here very frequently until they were well on their way....usually about a year. The only thing I really don't like about the band is the fills; they are a nuisance.

Yeah didn't like the fact that if it slips i would only have 36 hrs too get back in for emergency surgery either.
