so is it worth it

ok reading here and i see most of you have a lot of problems with the band . is it worth it ? i see you vomit alot , how do you keep a job always being sick ? and is there a doctor in the fredericton or saint john area to get fills when you need them , I'am getting the band in less then too weeks but getting it done  in montreal.

I almost never vomit so I think you may be reading only the worst stories. A lot of us without many problems aren't posting much so I wanted to reply and say it is absolutely worth it.

There aren't docs elsewhere that do fills - I have to go see Dr B in Moncton any time I need an adjustment.

I could not be happier! I am down 80 lbs from my highest, teach fitness classes 4 times a week and am getting married to the man of my dreams in August. Having the band was the best decision this lady ever made.

cool good too hear not all people with the band  are  getting sick all the time. myself don't know if doc B in monton would do fills for me so i will probley have too go back to montreal when i need fills. congrats on the 80 lbs and the marriage .

A bandster may vomit but you are not sick. The food does not reach you stomach, so it is more like you spit it up. No nausea. The food is just as you swallowed it- even tastes the same (sounds gross but it isn't). I have had tons of trouble but I would still do it again.

I love my band, I know I wouldnt have lost my weight without it. It is work, still, I certainly cant eat like I use to, but that is a good thing. I rarely throw up, only if I havent chewed enough, or took too big a mouthful, and trust me you learn fast how to eat with the band. Regrets? Nope
