Intense pain today! Help!

I have been experiencing intense heartburn and vomitting for the past 24 hours.  I can't eat anything, and am even vomitting up water!

Over the counter heartburn meds not working either.  Had a 2cc fill two weeks ago after being unrestricted for about 4 months.  Things really never settled down after the fill, and have been able to eat very little for past two weeks.

Has anyone gone to the Dumont when Dr. B is not available?  Worried to go there without knowing if they can help me.

Please help!

Take yourself to the Dumont emerg. The doctors there are aware of bariatric surgery and they are more able to help.

Go to Georges Dumont ER - I went when he was on holiday - thankfully when I went back 4 days later REALLY sick requiring surgery - he had just come back from Holidays and was there - but I have no doubt I would have been well taken care of all the same!

It sounds like you are too tight. Sometimes the effects of a fill is not fully felt until day, weeks or even months after the fill. My last fill was in early December & just recently (like a few days) I became tight & have to be very careful what I eat. Today I had to start the day on fluids because I was too tight.
On the subject of the ER on Moncton. It is the only alternative but be aware that some doctors there know no more about the band than doctors at any other hospital. I once had to prove tha****er was not going through the band but drinking & up chucking. The doctor was going to send me home because there wasn't a blockage on the x-ray!  And don't believe that girls at the clinic when they tell you that they will only remove 2cc. The first unfill, they totally drained the band including the prime they put in at surgery. The second time I had Dr Champagne- he was wonderful & he actually listened to me. He said he had never been told to remove only 2cc. We stuck a deal & agreed that he would take out 2 cc & if water went through with no problem, then he would take more out as per usual. He only needed to take out 2 cc. You really have to fight for yourself. Believe me it takes months to get back to restriction when they take a lot out.
