Oh! Oh!
I got stuck this morning. I called the clinic & am awaiting their call. I had cereal for breakfast. Then I grabbed some chicken from the fridge to add some protein (& of course I was running late). I don't think I ate it too fast, I was concious of that. It would not stay down. I am scared that my pouch is swelling. I am going to be so good today & tomorow.
On another matter- Dr Roy wanted to see me in 4 weeks. I spoke to Nathalie this morning & the best she could do was 6 weeks. Oh well, I had her put me on a cancellation list.
Say a little prayer to the women upstairs that my band is OK.

After a fill, my stomach swells up for at least two weeks. I do liquids for at least a week now despite the 2 day liquid/ 2 day mushy rule. My stomach really has a hard time adapting after a fill but usually after two weeks I"m good. During those two weeks, I am very careful what I eat because eating too dense could prolong the swelling.
I had my last fill on Sept 27th and even now, chicken would not good down for me in the morning. In fact, chicken is becoming an absolute pain for me and I can barely eat it at dinner time anymore.
Curious - why do you think your band wouldn't be okay?

I am trying really hard to stick to liquids & mushies. So far so good, but it is hard after eating what I wanted for 2 months. This obesity thing never gets easier, does it? Chicken is a hard one for me when I have restriction. I am going to have to remember which foods are not good for Anthony Bandaro.
