Finally a fill-I got the date wrong-Oct 28th
I finally have a fill on Thursday Oct 28 @ 1:00. I have been empty since the first week of August.I know one full won't make much difference, but you have to take that first step to get any where. The hunger has been all consuming. I am either eating or fighting hunger. I've gained a bunch too. I am going to ask about having another procedure, but no very hopeful about it.
Anyone else going in that day? Jet (or anyone) available for coffee?

I'm not sure if I'm working that day but if I'm not I'd like to go see you and find out what Dr. B. said about a revision for you.
Hope all is well...I'm busy as all heck and can't get used to this darn c-pap machine I just got....but on the plus side my new fuzzy sheets are sooooooo nice...hehehe

Charline, my dear, you have had one hell of a time with your band. I only hope you now have the wrinkles ironed out of the darn thing. I think you guys are so brave. I have always said that about the band. I would not have been able to deal with it. I was prepared to walk away if I had been unable to get the RNY. It is not exactly a picnic either but I have not had as many upheavels as some of you have had. For those whose bands are going well, I breathe a sigh of relief when I read their progress.
Charline, when I read on the main board I see people on there well into their sixties getting bypass surgeries. I don't know what the drawback is. He may have done enough bypass' now and feels more comfortable doing them on people over 55. I fail to see what age has to do with it really, as long as you are in relatively good health and can withstand the anestetic. I think as long as you understand the risks, you should get some say in the type of surgery.
Please let us know what he says about revision. I think there are quite a few others on here who are interested as well. Maybe he will say YES. Fingers crossed eh?
