Hi Brenda. I had gastric bypass on Feb 12/09. I have lost a total of 130 pounds and feel great. I had a few problems during and right after surgery and have had a few teething problems for the first year but am doing great now. If you have any problems, feel free to ask any of us who have had rny on here. There are 4 or 5 of us on here who have had RNY gastric bypass and even with all of my problems, I would do this again in a heartbeat. It has really changed my life. I laughingly tell everyone that I lost a whole person but I kept all of their skin. LOL

Yay Brenda you made it to the board!! I am so excited for you to have your surgery, we had our info session together and so I am just waiting for a call. You will have to keep us posted on your progress and healing after surgery. Will be thinking of you on Friday, Trish
