need help

I need help on what to eat in the day and when to eat,As Iam on fill 8.5 and still eating too much and not doing good.Iam getting upset and would like if someone can help me out and let me know what you eat and do to take the bls off thanks..

Don't be upset. Pat yourself on the back for your hard work and for your loss so far. You've done great. Just because you have not reached your hundred doesn't mean you are a failure or you are failing.You are exercising and you look great!

Have you tried just eating three meals a day? This is was is recommended on the actual lap band site and that's what I do. I don't snack at all (well sometimes after supper I'll have a small dessert treat) but I don't snack between breakfast and lunch or between lunch and supper.

Are you drinking 8 glasses or water a day? Maybe adding more water to your regime will help you out.

thanks Iam not eating meal so say,I have a drink at 5am then 2 snacks at work then when I get home I have something small then supper have my meat and water I need to drink more what Iam going to try fri is no snacks at work and water water what do u have for lunch at work thanks for you good help.

I have always eaten 3 meals and 1 or 2 snacks. The one thing I always make sure of is that I have protein EVERY time I eat. Breakfast is a protein shake, lunch today was a bowl of vegetarian chile with baked rice crackers. I had grapes and a cheese string for a snack. For supper, I had some rice with a bit of meat.

Are you exercising? That is a key component to this journey. I do yoga and run; you just have to find something that interests you and have fun with it.

I go to Zumba 2 times a week,I will try eating more for luch this may help.Thanks that helps with wwhat you had today.As I have a breakfst evey day at 5am as I work at 6am.I think Iam having a hard time with lunch as I get home at 1:30 and some times don''t know what to eat.

Blueeyegirl -- you look great and have had great success with your band so far.
I know from talking to lots of people with different wls, they stress protein.

Protein to stop the stalls, to make sure you get at least 60 to 80g of protein in a day.
If you're not hitting that level, your body could be triggered to go into starvation mode, and store everything you eat.

I'm not sure if you're stalled, or how long - but protein is the most important thing above anything else from what I've learned.   Also, not sure how tall you are, but you could be slowing as you're nearing the end of your weight loss.

You look awesome!  Keep rockin' your band girlie!

Thanks Carly,Iam doing more protrin and that seems to be working Iam 5'2 ,Thanks for message me I will get more protein as I think that is the key.I dring milk but going to try some diff things.
