Upda on Denise!!

Just received a phone call from Denise's hubby and she had a bit of a set back, Denise is back in the hospital possibly until the first of next week. There apparently was some bleeding during surgery a bit more then expected and Dr B had to go back in and fix the sleeve as well as clear out some of the excess blood. Denise came home yesterday and was feeling fine but had allot of pain but as time went on her temp was going up and was running quite high and they had to bring her back to the hospital because of the blood that was still in her stomach it was going septic so now she is on all kinds of antibiotics for this and is starting to feel better and her temp has come down. Craig said that this morning they brough her in some breakfast so she had some of it and it was good. Craig said she should be home by Monday or Tuesday providing everything goes well with the infection. We will all keep Denise and her family in our prayers and pray for a speedy recovery with no more complications.

Beth- are you going to see her this weekend?  I would like to go with you if you are.  If you arent, I may go anyway, just need to find out some info from you if possible, such as Denise's last name....call or email me when you get a chance. 

Beth or Denise - if you do see Denise please send her hugs and get well wishes from me and everyone else. Thank goodness she is back in hospital and being taken care of. Hope she is soon feeling a whole lot better and is home sweet home!

Wow I am so glad they caught everything quickly and got back to the hospital for help. Just a reality check for us all that it is major surgery and things can go wrong. Denise will be in my prayers and her family as she recovers. Trish
