Gall Bladder attack tonight

Oh my, I am in such agony tonight....I havnt had a gall bladder attack in probably 6 months but Im in so much pain tonight...I hope I can manage it without going to the hospital tonight....hope to feel better tomorrow

Had my gall bladder out 10 years ago, the attacks are horrible.  Worst pain I've ever felt, so I know what you're going through.

Oh Angela I am so sorry to hear of your pain. I used to have gallbladder attacks 20+ years ago. Really bad really often. I got tired of going to the hosp so often so I got my hands on demerol  for something else and saved them. When I felt a gallbladder attack coming on I would take a demerol and sleep through it. When I awoke the attack was over. Eventually the gallstones got too big to block the bile duct (which causes the attack in the first place) and I have not had an attack in over 20 years now. I am not advocating self medicating and getting the bloody thing out is the absolute best answer. I could not afford the time off work when  my kids were small to get it out. I suppose I should get mine checked out. I read somewhere that enlarged gallstones can become cancerous. (really big stones)
