recent gall bladder issues

Long story short - had an excruciating gall bladder attack the other day.  The doctor at emerg gave me toradol for pain.  Called the clinic to confirm I can take it and they said so long as I am on losec I can.  I am so I can.  Currently no pain and don't need to take the meds as yet.  Got a call for an ultra sound on Sept. 21 so I am hoping to get to the bottom of this thing soon.  If it has to come out - I want it out.  I absolutely do not want to have to go through another attack.  Eating mostly liquids for now.  Band is a bit tight - hopefully I can lose some weight in the bargain.

OUCH! I had a couple of them. Very big ouch. I hope they get it out for you soon. If you start to have swelling from the attack, and your band gets too tight, head to the clinic. Don't wait like I do. Not a good idea.

actually my band has been a bit tightier since the attack but not so much that I cannot function - I have lost about 10 pounds since last fill and gained 3 back.  I always lose right out of the gate and then gain a portion of it back.  Holding my own just now.  I hope the ultra sound on the 21st finds something definitive.  If not, Dr. Beau and I are gonna have a chat.  Thanks for the advice Charline - I will not wait if things get worse.  I will be calling the clinic.  I called them to make sure I could take the pain meds that the GP gave me and they said it was okay and I can even ask to be referred to Dr. Beau if I need my gall bladder removed.  I think I would like to do that if I can.  Since he is familiar with my gizmo and all.
