Today I go and get my staples out, and I can't wait!!!!
I am so happy that I will be getting these staples removed this morning they have been driving me absolutely nuts with the itching and just pulling and things...I am been putting polysporin on then to keep them soft as they were drying out.
I only have 6 more days left of pureed food then on to regular food and I am sooooooooooo looking forward to that. The other morning I was looking through my closet and came across a pair of jeans which I bought last year when I was State side and they never fit then but I bought them saying to myself that maybe someday I will fit into them so I said to my DH I think I will try these on just for the heck of it and see where they come up on me...well low and behold I could pull them right on and button them and they still had some room in them so I was so excited as I didn't think they would be fitting yet.. So needless to say I walked around all day with a huge smile on my face for the day plus I now have 3 new pairs of jeans and get this they don't have the elastics on the waist nor do they have the streatchie jean material so that is good also. I know I still have a ways to go for sure but ever little bit of new change is good for anyone...wooohooo... I will post once I get back from my appointment this morning at 10:30 letting you know how things went as I am sure they will be doing a weigh in as well...then I think they will book my first fill after this or I will have to book it not sure....I will have to ask for an appointment after September 20th - 22nd as I have to fly to Montreal with my youngest son Brandon as he has lots of tests going on at the Shriners hospital on the 21st for genetics testing with his connective tissue disorder, and I heard that it is not good to have a recent fill and then fly....so I will inquire today as well while I am up there....take care all have a great day and always smile...
hugs all

Hey there Jet:
I was there at 9:30 I always like to be early...lol everything went well today and since August 3rd I have lost 11.7 pounds so they said I am right on schedule and doing well with the weight loss. My next appointment will be sometime in October for my first fill so that should be interesting and looking forward to it to know what restriction will be like. Right now I find I am comfortable with what I am eating and feel full each time with a cup of whatever it is that I have. In 5 more days I can finally introduce my body back to whole food...wooohooo I will just have to remember to chew chew chew...after I left the hospital I went to Costco and bought my vitimans so I will start taking them tomorrow....I will probably have to cut the pills in half they are huge...lol
At least I won't have my fill until I get back from Montreal so I won't have any worries about flying and the band.
That is good Jet that you lost 2.1 lbs and I am sorry I missed seeing you today... I saw Denise and her hubby at the hospital they came to see me and let me tell you it was very hot in Moncton today and here as well...so when I got home I plunked myself in my pool to cool off and it is still muggy here...gonna be a long night of trying to sleep I think.

You can do it Miss Kitty!! I saw a vascular surgeon today and he told me I have amazing legs!! LOL!! He said that if I was wearing a skirt just above the knees, no one would know by looking at my legs that I have lost as much weight as I have! That was cool but weird at the same time to have a Dr commenting on my legs like that!
