Dr. Savoie Update?

Hello my fellow Canadians. Just wondered if anyone could update me a bit on Dr. Savoie's practice, with particular reference to the DS. Is he up and running and performing DS? Had anyone had their DS surgery with him yet?

Hi there,

No DS as of yet.  He was supposed to start with VSG this week but I'm not sure if it happened and if everything is on track.  I speak with one of the ladies there every month to see how things are and things are still slow.  He only has one day a week for wls but hopes to have more.  Not sure when that will happen.

From what else she mentioned is that most of the people who were on the waiting list up to the end of December 2008 are in the appointment book and will be contacted eventually.  So patience is still needed.

So I guess it's not necessarily good news for someone like me who was wishing for the DS but he is training his staff with new surgeries all the time and the DS is still in the plans. 

I GO TO THE CLINIC ON THE AFTERNOON OF THE 16TH.SAW DR. S ONE AND A HALF YEARS AGO..AM SUPPOSED TO HAVE VSG...HOPING IT WILL B THIS FALL
