Back from the GI endoscopy

I went to thr hospital this morning and Dr Beausoleil did an upper GI to see what was happening with my stomach. He believes I have H. pylori bacterial infection. I am on two different antibiotics and will see him again in a couple of weeks. He did a biopsy as well and should have the results by then.

At least I am able to hold some food down and have started combining running with my yoga again. Good to get some answers though; have a great day everyone.

That is good to hear that it wasn't a hernia and I hope that the antibiotics that Dr Beausoliel put you on will help you and make things much easier.  Take care of you and I will be thinking about you in regards to the biopsy results.  I am sure things will be great.

Thanks; we haven`t confirmed that I don`t have a hernia because that doesn`t show up on the endoscopy.  We`ll see what hapens.

Well that is good and bad news.It isn't a hernia and it is curable but isn't that the bacteria that causes stomach ulcer?

The hernia possibility has not been ruled out; the endoscopy cannot detect that according to the good Dr. As far as caisning ulcers, I believe it can. The antibiotics are brutal though. The nausea is unbelievable and the foul after taste is almost unbearable. All I can say is it better not be for nothing.
