I am ordinary

OMG, can you believe it, I am ordinary!   I never gave it much thought until I went for lunch at Pizza Delight a couple of days ago. You know when you are really big and you walk into a restaurant, store, bar, bus whatever and people will stare at you and as you walk past them you will hear snickers or whisper behind you. Now I go anywhere and I blend in with everybody else in the place. Nobody notices me and I do not stand out in a crowd for any reason. I was sitting alone in the restaurant and nobody gave me a second glance. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

As of this morning I weigh 178 pounds. It has been 16 months since sugery and I only step on the scales once a week or so to keep a handle on weight gain. If I hit 185 I will look back at my food journal and see why and correct it and go back to 181/183. That's where I have been for just over a year,

Now if I could just win that Max lottery and get the girls and my butt lifted, everything would be perfect. LOL

Congrats Mary- you have done amazing. I don't know about you, but I may look ordinary, but I feel like I  glow!

good for you, we are so lucky this surgery is available, it is indeed . . life saving and life changing .  Yesterday I put a bathing suit on, and swam with my grandson. I am so happy I have my lapband, cause I know without it, my weight loss would not be happening. You have done amazing , congrats.

Good for you Mary! I know exactly how you feel. Where once we would stick out in a crowd and get sideways glances from people- now - we are ordinary. And ordinary is good! Take care!
