I am back in Canada

Hello everyone! Just wanted to tell everyone I am back and I feel great.  I had surgery June2 and then was released on Friday morning June4. I am up walking every day, I go for three 15 min walks. Liquids and vits going down good. I would suggest the Ds to anyone who asks. Belgium was great they treat you like royalty there, Beautiful country.

Wow Stephanie we are so proud of you for being proactive about your health! I wondered if you would mind giving me the name of your surgeon in Belgium. The DS was the first initial surgery I chose as well with Dr. Savoie and I was heartbroken when that door closed for us. I am still looking into other options but figured it was to expensive and we just don't have the money but I am not closing any doors yet. Thanks for the updates, we are following with excitement for you. Trish

I am very happy to hear that you are doing well and back on Canadian soil.  Remember to get your rest as well and lots of water....keep us updated on how you are doing.  Glad to hear from you.   :-)

Holy Moses Whitney! Are you ever doing fantastic on your weight loss. Way to go girl. Any idea when your next step with Dr. B, is?

Thank you, I am hopeing that the hospital will be calling me sometime this summer for my pre-op assessment  and then of course the 2 weeks of the liquid drinks...Dr B told me within 6 months or so of when I last saw him and that was in I think March/early April could have been earlier then that...I can't wait...I am still working my loosing some more weight, it has been a struggle these past few weeks for some reason but I am working now at WalMart and I am always on my feet and have lost quite a bit of inches along with weight so that is very helpful.  I will certainly be jumping for joy once I get that next call from the hospital booking me for my pre op  wooohoooo....I will be posting right away....  :-)  .
