Charline, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved cousin and best friend. Losing a loved one is difficult beyond words.
I know it is hard now but I am sure you already know that in time your memories will be more that he lived and not that he died. Time will ease your pain Charline.
Thinking of you today,
Maggie.

Thanks girls, I was with him up to his death and he had such a difficult time over the last 5 days and struggled so hard to breath in the hours before his death, that I was praying for the release of death for him. I have been doing a lot of walking and biking. Lots of time to think. I am fine right now, other than my every thought is him. I will really hit a wall when I go to my cottage. Even time I go to the end of the front yard or the beach I have always looked over at his family's cottage to see if his truck was there. I know that I will do that automatically and it will hit like a slap when I realize he will never be there again. I know I will move on but it is going to take a little longer than usual.
Your kindness is appreciated.
Charline
