Back on Track
The last 4-6 weeks have been very tough for me. I had a fill and the stomach flu shortly thereafter. Once the flu passed, I got kidney stones. I went for an unfill, bit still wasn't managing solid food. I have been on liquids for 5-6 weeks now. I had a CT yesterday, so I decided to stop by the clinic. I have an appointment scheduled for the 17th, but thought I would try to have it moved up if possible. Turns out Dr B is on vacation, so the 17th it is.
Today I ate solids without them coming back up. Because I have felt like crap, I haven't been exercising as much either. Enough is enough.Tomorrow, I am starting my training for the 10K race in Québec city June 6th. I almost convinced myself that I would just do 5 instead. No way! I set 2 fitness goals for 2010: to rune a 10K before July, and run a half marathon @ Legs for Literacy in October. I am going to accomplish what I have set my mind to do.
I am also going vegetarian. My band doesn't really appreciate meat anyway, so why not make the switch. I also plan on trying hot yoga; sweat out those last nine pounds! So no more excuses for me; I am taking charge of my life and my health.
