Spent 8 hours at the ER yesterday.........

Well, I went to the ER @ 1:30 yesterday afternoon and left close to 09:30 :( I have had pains in the left kidney for 3 weeks now. Sunday, I was driving home from Bathurst and had a very bad attack, broke into a cold sweat and almost passed out at the wheel.

Since this is the 2nd such attack in 3 weeks and I've had a kidney stone before, I figured I would go have it checked out. The Dr is pretty sure that it is a kidney stone; going for a ct on the 30th.

I am thankful for the tylenol 3 I have on hand. The pain is unbelievable; I would rather give birth again! Ok, not really. Haven't been able to work out during this time; certainly makes you appreciate good health.

Pancreatitis, gall stones, and kidney stones are the 3 most painful health incidents that can happen to you. i have given birth 4 times and had all 3 of these and I would take the birth (as far as pain goes) anytime!
I got my appointment on the 13th at 2:15- i will try to go down early and meet between our appointments.

Sorry to hear about your recent bout of pain Jet. As you said - it certainly makes one appreciate feeling well. Worked for me big time after I was sick last summer. Hope you stay well and are soon up and running!
