The time has come....YAHOO!!!

I have been packing and organizing today and what a wave of different emotions Im having...so excited one minute, crying the next, nervous stomach yet hungry lol.  My flight leaves tomorrow at noon and surgery is Wednesday morning.  I lost 37 lbs on my own, made it to 399 Yah Me!  I will have my husband post for me as I wont have access until Saturday.  Thanks for all your support thus far!!!

Oh Angela, I remember reading one of your first posts and how sad and depressed you were! I wanted to cry for you. Look at you now, all fired up and ready to go! Loosing 37lbs on your own was an awesome feat indeed. You will do so well, I just know it. 

I will be thinking and praying for you over the next couple of days.Hoping all goes well. I cannot wait to read about your adventure after you are back home and on the loosers bench.

Angela I am wishing you all the luck in the world and my prayers and thoughts are with you, hard to believe in 2 days you will have had your surgery it is amazing and you are a very amazing lady and I am glad that I have met you and can't wait to see you once you are home and well rested.  WOW loosing 37 pounds on your own is awesome so proud of you in so many ways.  It sure has been quite a bumpy road along your journey but now you are heading to your finish line and will soon be on your next journey to a healthier you.  Good luck my dear and we will all be thinking and praying for you on surgery day....all will go well and you are in the best hands possible.

What everyone else said.

It will be all done soon and you will be home wondering what all the nerves were all about. LOL If you have any questions or concerns after surgery don't hesitate to come here and ask Mary C, Deb or me. We will all be only too happy to offer any advice  or help. I know Deb was a Godsend for me. It  would have been a much harder journey without her constant support. .

Everyone else on here was wonderful to me too. I'd come here and **** and moan and some wonderful soul would reach out to me and I'd feel so much better. God bless 'em all.

Congrats Ang you have done amazing and such a long haul on your own girly- you can do this - I will be thinking of you when I am away I leave Thursday for Virginia Beach and the WLS Retreat. I am keeping you in my prayers!

We are supposed to be chk'd out of the online world while at the retreat but I will try to sneak on to follow your progress- I am so proud of you and know you are in such amazing talented surgical hands- meet ya on the otherside hon- I will be getting the bench all ready for ya !

The day has FINALLY arrived (or almost) It's only a matter of hours, not days. When you get scared because of the risks of surgery on someone your size, remember that, though those risks are real, you will have a chance to see your 90th birthday and a real life worth living after this surgery is over. The chance that you will be alive in ten years will have improved more than the risks from the surgery. So relax girl. You are going to drift off the sleep in the hands of experts that likely have far more experience in operating on the morbidly obese than anyone in this province and you WILL wake up to a new life (not to mention a fair amount of pain, but it will be worth every minute!! LOL What do you think good drugs are for??)  I just know you will be fine. I feel it to be an unquestionable truth.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you for a smooth surgery, without any complication, and a low discomfort recovery.
