I have had two fills, but only have restriction for about 2 weeks, is this normal? I am finding these last few days very hard controlling my apetite. I can eat anything and any amount. Why is my restriction only lasting a couple of weeks with each fill? Any adivise would be appreciated, thanks.

Totally normal, for me at least. My restriction only last 2-3 weeks and then I need a fill. That's why for me, regular fills are a absolute must to ensure my weight loss does not plateau.

My next is April 19th, I waited six weeks since my last one and i'm eating the cupboards right now. When my restriction lessens, I need to really be careful because my food demons creep back.

Your restriction will only last once you're at goal. It's like a wris****ch, you need to adjust your watch until you've lost all your weight for it to fit properly, well the band is the same way. Only when you are at your ideal weight will you no longer need regular fills.

Again, the above has been my experience and is the way I chose to work my band. Others may have different views & opinions since there are many different ways to use a band.

I was like that for the first 4-5 months, but then I had good restriction for a couple of months until I needed an unfill due to flying. My Jan 22?? fill is still very good & I can still get stuck if I am not super careful. I have noticed that it is not as tight as it was but I think I was a little too full. I actually turned down a fill.

So glad you mentioned this I am experincing the same thing except I left my last fill without restriction except for chicken and hard boiled eggs I need to get back in before the end of april.
