New NSV's and other good things

You guys all know how I have been ******g and moanig lately. I am fustrated but I am going to start 2 weeks of 2 boost and one meal to see if I can get this weight going downward again.

Onward to my nsv's. First I was at Walmart pharmacy today and glanced at the automatic blood pressure machine. For years I wanted to check my B/P but my arms were so huge I could only barely get my forearn into the cuff so it certainly would not get an accurate measurement so I never bothered. Well, today I removed my jacket and easily slid my whole arm into the cuff. IT FIT!!! My b/p by the way was 117/67   perfect

My second nsv was while at walmart I tried on some coats and OMG they fit!!! Regular clothes, right off the rack in a regular store!!! I almost cried. I stood there for like 20 minutes trying on all of the coats that fit me. I was sooooo happy. Only wish I could afford to buy one but that's alright, I will get one later. All that was important was they fit!!!

My third nsv was this morning just for the hel of it I measured my torso. I was measuring for a curtain and had the tape in my hand so what the hell? The area just below my ribs is the smallest place on my trunk and it measures, (are you ready?)  341/2 inches. I was stunned. My waist is still quite a bit larger than that but still....

My fourth was when I called blue cross to inquire about getting coverage. While on the phone to the rep she was asking abut health issues and for the first time in years my only health issues are my work related back problems. And all of thoes meds are covered by workers comp so other than thoes I take no medicatrions and as of my last blood test I am in perfect health. Can you even imagine? Perfect health. No more diabests, asthma, heart problems, fluid retention, wheezing, knee pain or sleeping pills. I had not really realized that until talking to her today. YES!!

So for all of you newbies and waiters, there is a silver lining in that black cloud and it does work. The weight does indeed come off........eventually.

So yep I have had a happy day and am feeling a bit better than my last post. Still I will feel better still when I se the scale start to drop. It has not budged since Novenmber..

Good for you!! It certainly is encouraging to us newbies and waiters!!! I have hit a bit of a rough patch with my eating but am still Diet Pepsi free. It has been almost 5 weeks!! Although I am discouraged about the eating I am thrilled about the no pop. I will take the thrills anyway I can get them!!

Wow! An avalanche of NSVs. Isn't amazing just to realize that you can shop...anywhere....well anywhere but Additionelle and Penningtons.  May we never darken their doors again!
