I just weighed myself and I am at 285.6....woohoo...I�have lost some weight...thank goodness.� Starting second week now....and my appointment in Moncton this Wednesday to sign papers and get weighed...

WOW- are you sure you need surgery? I didn't do as well as i would like on the scale numbers but I have a scale that measures lean mass, fat %, and Visceral fat and my lean mass is up a percent point , and so is my visceral fat (that's the super unhealthy fat under the muscle and around the organs. My measurements are now all under 50 inches and my waist is under 40. This as all because of the exercise I am getting geocaching.

That is awesome Charline to loose the inches...I think with me I didn't have any potatoes, rice, pasta or any breads since last friday and it was a battle let me tell you...I have just lived on salads and meat of course and eggs...and not very many eggs either for that matter...and fish...the other day howerever I made speghetti and I had the sauce with the hamburger in it and a little bit of pasta so I did give in somewhat...but I think most of the weight I lost this week was fluid I am sure..lol  I haven't measured myself so I am not sure what I lost for inches but I do notice it in my pants.

282 was hoping for more but I will take the 2 . I look at your weights and my heart is full I can not "weight"

Two pounds is the upper range of expected weight loss with the band. You are doing fantastic.
