information session

DR B,has an information session april6   cant wait    i was at the point of losing hope i gained all the weight i had lost with my lap band now i yet may get my gastric  bypass  here hoping  now i just have to get back on track   heres hoping  i can do it again    jacqueline

So I take it you are invited to that session?  How long did you have to wait for the revision?

i had my lapband out august 13 2009    it seems like a million years ago   and yes  i`m going to the session cant wait  maybe i can  finally get motivated to start losing weight again  jacqueline

yes doctor b did my lapband and he will be doing my gastric bypass     jacqueline

you dont have to answer this question if you think its too personal, but as a newly banded pt. was wondering what happened to your lapband? Did you have it removed and why?

I was wondering as well of how it works when a procedure doesnt seem to give the results desired, does the doctor suggest doing a second procedure or do you have to wait on the waiting list again.

due to problems i had the band had to be removed  the last problem which resulted in an infection in my band  doctor b said the band had to be  removed i then had to wait  a few months to heal  and for the infection to go away  then i had to wait for msi   to get approval    since i`m from nova scotia  and they had a staff change which threw a monkey wrench into it because halifax  has there own  surgery weight loss program  and msi wants  everyone in nova scotia to go there   now have approval for surgery  and am waitng to have it done   i should not have to wait  to long  as its considered  a revision        jacqueline
