Hit it!! & an NSV

Check out the ticker!!  70.4 pounds gone!  Also I had a couple of NSVs!!  Yesterday someone that I needed to talk to was going in the back door at work, just as I was about to get in my car. I sprinted (yup sprinted!) across the parking lot. My legs moved so easily. No rubbing of the thighs, no banging of the fat bubble inside my knees....I wondered who's legs they were!!  On the way home I bought a pair of size 16 pants off the rack, without trying them on. I thought that if they were too tight, I would fit them by summer....they fit!!  This morning, while looking for something to wear, I came across a pair of JTF jeans from Sears (JTF- jeans that fit)....you have to be at least  my age to remember this brand. They were among  the first jeans made to fit a female figure. Before that, you bought boys jeans and took them in at the hip / waist. (yes I am that old). Well I have hung on to these jeans since my 27 year old was 18 months old. I vowed that I would get into them again someday. On  whim I decided to try them on. The last time I did this was about a year ago- I could get the  waist to mid-thigh. Today I pulled them up and buttoned the waist and could almost zip them. I was flabbergasted!  I am stoked to go hiking today!

Jet- When I get below 200 pounds I may join you on the running circuit!

WOW!!! CHARLINE, WOW!!! That's F,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,awesome. OMG,  I'm so glad to see this from you. You are doing wonderfully.

It must feel SOOOOOO good to get into those jeans!  I have a pair from my lowest weight too. Can't remember the name but they have a zipper and a bow on the backs of the lower legs. They are a 26 waist, Doubt if I will ever get back into those. Oh well:)

YAHOOOO!!!!  What a day!  I am sooo happy for you.  Those darn stalls can be very discouraging.  Nice to hear from people as they get through them - gives us all hope.  I didn't keep my smallest jeans - likely a size 10 - gave up on those a long time ago.  I did however keep my fat pants.  I tried them on the other day and guess what - I can fit into one leg.  I've seen those pictures but never thought it would be me. What a feelin' - my DH said he thought we could both fit in :-)).   Going
4-wheelin' with my DH and my son this afternoon - great fun with 70 pounds less to giggle around - life is good and it is waiting there for ALL of us!  Keep working that band Charlene - you are doing great!

That's great Charline! Sprinted - awesome! And thanks for clarifying the NSV thing - I knew it was related to a wow moment type of thing - but didn't know exactly what it stood for.

Woohoo!!  Got to love it when you can see and feel the difference ... how is your balance without having to counteract all the rubbing, banging etc, lollol

Do you realize that you have lost over 60% of your weight loss goal!  Despite the struggles you have kept the focus on the long term life style changes for success.  Continue to shine with the nsv's - can't wait for the day you will need to take in those special jeans cause even though there were made to fit ... they will need to be fitted to the skinny nanny!

Hope the sunny spring weather is helping to brighten your spirits.
