It has been ages since I have heard from Catand the fiddle. I remember asking about her awhile back too and I don't think I got an answer. The last thing I heard about her was she was not well and in hospital but that was ages ago. Has anyone heard aanything about the cat? I hope she is alright and home now.,

Yeah, I noticed that ALL of her posts have been deleted. Do you think she has withdrawn from OH membership. I gues as long as she is home and is getting better that's all that matters. I hope we have not done anything to offened her and make her want to leave.

Hi guys - she is still listed on the members list and I have copied and pasted her last few posts. I also hope she is doing better day by day. She probably just doesn't have the energy or interest to post here these days. I know I stayed away from the board after I was sick - and I was no where as ill as Catand the fiddle-it was like re-opening a wound when I went on. Perhaps she feels the same?

Thanks Ladies. I still mourn over not having the band . I waited so long & went through the surgery. I have a surgery line from above my breastbone to my belly button. It was stapled , I think over 50 of them. I have lost some weight , I didn't eat for a month . Then when I could I had to go to liquids etc. Then I lost my appetite all together , I wouldn't eat a thing. I was constant;y nauseated (which I am still fighting) . I don't feel good a lot of the time.
Reading some of your posts , most of you are doing good. Keep up the good work .

Hello Everyone , I hope all of you had a wonderful Xmas & going to have a Happy New Year !
I have been so sick , I could not have used the computer , or talked on the phone . My strength was completely gone & I lost all my desire to use it. I think last week I started using this once in a while .
I was in the hopital for over a month , & I have have been home for 3 weeks . I still have 2 pumps in my stomach , pumping out all the poison that I still have. When I had emergency surgery , the surgeon pumped out 6 liters of posion & I Have had pumps in since. I guess Dr,S punctured my bowel & the lining of the stomach .......while I was still in Bathurst after surgery, I had a temp & was severly dehydrated , they did bolus IV. So I was in there 3 days. From there on it got worse.
The surgeon told me it 50% chance that I would make it through. He told my DH that I prpbably would NOT make it through the night . So the family was called in . I lost several weeks , that I remember nothing.
Oh, the first thing the surgeon did was take the band out...........he told me that it had twisted as well.
So, I hope that this clears up some things .

Holy Moses She was a sick puppy. I can't even imagine. Hope she will recover without more problems. If she is still lurking, I hope she knows we all wish her only the best for a speedy recovery. You may be right Mary, she may not feel up to going on line right now. I hope she will come back when she feels better. She was on here so long it's like we got to know her so well and she was a part of the family.
