yeah i forgot i have been taking 100 mg of all the b vitamins for a few years now , noticed nothing from them, my supplement has 5 different kinds of calcium (Jamieson brand) . including carbonate. The truth about depression  is that anyone with over 100 pounds to lose in my case (180 pounds) is more than likely depressed. If a person can  get a handle on that everything else will fall into place. To find a supplement that when at optimal levels can heal depression (and cheaply i might add) in my view is a no brainer, at least  for me. In the presense of enough vitamin D you will absorb much more calcium  no matter what kind is what i have read. Watch that youtube video  in my first post in this thread , it explains alot. If anyone wants to increase vit D consult your doctor and do not increase if you have liver or kidney problems.

Thanks for the info. I do havge some kidney issues. Next time I am in the city though I will grab a bottle of D3. May grab a cal mag too. I can't absorb carbonate because of my bypass so will need to look further into that. Just out of curiosity where on the list is vit D? I should know but I don't and I am not too proud to ask.
