Day 1 of 30 day Optifast!

Well today began Day 1 of my 30 day optifast diet....yes I said 30 days.  Surgery is scheduled for March 2nd in Montreal.  I can't believe it's finally started.  I'm excited and anxious all in one.

Wow 30 days! That’s a long liquid diet but it will be worth it in the end, you’ll see. I am so happy you are finally moving along in your journey!

 

I will have you in my thoughts on March 2^nd for sure, I just marked my calendar. You will not regret this I am sure of it! Once the surgery and recovery part is done with, it will feel like it was in a past life!

 

This is YOUR year!

Oh Angela, 30 days!! Thats a long time but you seem to have such a positive outlook!! Remember it will get easier as time goes by. The worse are the first few days then it will get better. I'm so glad that you finally have a date. It has been so long for you.
 
If it gets bad, come here and vent That's what we are here for. We've heard it all so don't be afraid to let loose. Better us than your family. We have all been 1/2 way there to where you are going so we have some idea. Let us be your cushion. And by the way CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! on taking the bull by the horns on this. You won't be disappointed.

The first few days are the worst. It gets easier- believe it or not. You will likely have a mild but persistant headache for about 4 days- most but not all do.  Remembern to come here for support, that is what we are here for. Don't be afraid to vent like crazy when you need to, we understand. And before I forget,, WOOOO HOOOOO for you!
