update

  Had my first fill   jan28/10 since my repair Oct9/09 when port and tubing were replaced.  Dr. B put in 3cc a big fill i thought but he's the doc. Iam some tight now my weight dropped 7 pounds in the past 2 days .Iam now down to 278.4 lbs from my all time high of 348. Iam being very careful, i have never felt this much restriction before now , i doubt i could eat a peice of bread now and i don't care to find out thank you very much. Its good to feel this kind of restriction ,  now that im familiar with the band i think its gonna work good. Since finding out that my vitamin d3 level is low in october I raised my vitamin d to 5000iu from 3000 iu ., also am taking  3 calcium /magnesium and 2 fish oil, adding the calcium to the d has real  mood  elevating effect and reduces my hunger levels.  Bonus , I can eat a bowl of soup and be full for 2 hours now!!!! Its taken so long to get to this point (1 year and 4 months).and i have restriction my weight dropping like a stone.

I am so happy for you. It is about time!!  It is a steep learning curve when you have restriction. I had an infill in December and Dr B put in 2.5 on Han 21st. At first I thought I was overfull but I just had to slow down and take small bites. It is amazing how quickly one forgets.

thanks for the advice , especially the advice of telling me to call and make an appointment Dr B seemed surprised that iwas only getting now for my first fill after my repair oct 9, but he did tell me to wait for the call,   I cannot emphasize enough  how good i feel between the supplements and the restriction. I know the size of the openning in stomach , its exactly the size of a fish oil capsule , sure hope thats not too small LOL , I love slimfast !!!
