Can't get to 6cc

So a few months ago I go to Moncton to get fill from 5cc to 6cc.  Everything was fine that day but the next day it seemed to get too tight, so off to Moncton I go again for an unfill of 1cc.  8 weeks later I head to Moncton again for a fill, back up to 6cc.  Nine days later and 9 pounds lighter I go back for an unfill, had a very hard time keeping liquids down and was vomiting ALOT!!!!  So they decided to knock me back to 4cc.  This past Thursday I go down for a fill under fluro......well let me tell you that was interesting.  Apparently, my port is not very deep so the radiologist had a hard time getting the needle to "stick" so after he finally gets it and moves the bed to an upright position and starts inserting the "juice" it starts spitting out on my shoe.....WTH??????  So he changes needles and it does it again, by now they have no idea how much I have in my band cuz its shooting out on my shoe....ugh!!!!  So after realizing that both needles broke he gets Dr. B to come out and do it himself, he unfills me to see how much I have left in and then puts it back up to 4cc, then the radiologist finishes the fill.  They end up putting another 2cc in which puts me back at 6cc and I drink the white chalky stuff and everything is flowing great and they send me on my way.  Well about half an hour away from the hospital I decide to drink my ensure, I take one tiny tiny sip and realize that something is wrong....I'm stuck!!!!!  So I had to pull over three times on the side of the highway before I got home to throw up.  So I get home and decide that I'm probably just swollen and I would wait til morning before having anything else.   Well my problem only got worse, I wasn't stuck.....I was closed up tight!!!!!!!!  You see, I woke up Friday morning and ended up throwing up saliva.  So all day I sat at work throwing up my own saliva in the garbage can, I was so tight that I couldn't even swollow my own spit and it kept backing up in my esphogus and paining like a son of a *****  So I contact the clinic and they tell me that if I can make it down that afternoon they could see me (y'all remember the storm we had on Friday, right?) well no can do, as horrible as I felt, I couldn't risk driving to Moncton in that weather.  But guess what......it only gets better....Dr. B is pulling out Friday night and heading to Montreal for two weeks cuz his mother is not well.  So guess where I ended up ALL DAY TODAY?????  That's right, I ended up in the ER at the George Dumont.  By the time this morning rolled around I had the worst headache and I was quickly becoming dehydrated plus I haven't been able to take any of my medication since Thursday morning.  Hubby had to drive me to Moncton as I was in NO shape to drive.  We got to the hospital at noon and after seeing alot of doctors and nurses and probably ******g off a radiologist (they had to call him in) I got outta there at 6pm.

The only good thing about my trip was that I didn't have to be totally unfilled, you see, normal emergency proceedure is to completly unfill the band but I begged and pleded not to, I told him that I would be fine at 4 cc and he told me that if I was sure of the numbers, he would only take out 2cc but it would be at my own risk.  So as soon as he did that, I started to feel 100% better, I got back to my cubicle in the ER and they gave me three glasses of water that I downed and felt fine.  So I am back home drinking ALOT of liquids and peeing again.....LOL.  But now I'm concerned that I will never get by 5cc :o(

I have never had 6 cc.I have only about 3.5 cc  at the moment and I have great restriction.

I am sorry that you have had such a miserable time. I went through something similar in December. The only good thing was that I has a total unfill for Christmas....yes I gained weight, but it was so delicious!! LOL
