6th Fill yesterday

 That sounds good to me Charline :-)  Sorry to hear you've had a stuck episode already.  I certainly do feel like i have restriction but I am taking it very slow.  I did have 1/2 slice of toast for breakfast - ate it with caution - chew, chew, chew and small bites and I felt the restriction - but didn't get stuck.  I am eating things like chicken stew (avoiding the chicken) and applesauce.  I really don't want to go for an unfill.  So, I figure if I'm very careful until I lose a few more pounds it will likely loosen up a bit and I will be fine for a while.  Surely at 7.5cc's restriction will last for a while.  Hope you have a really good week!

here I am lurking around and thought I'd add my two cents worth.  If you just got a fill on Friday what were you doing eating meat.  You ar supposed to go on liquids and mushies for a few days.  especially, especially after such a huge fill.  you know better.  back off the food for another day.  you don't want to irritate your stoma and get another unfill.  consider yourself scolded !!!!!!

Sorry, but I do think it qualifies for an "ouch."  But then maybe you have a relationship where you can speak so freely, and a little less than...gently.  What do I know?  :)   I do know that we all make mistakes, though, and we need to be kind.

This is exactly why i stopped posting here before.  I think you read that note in a negative context, try reading it with a bit of humour or sarcasm and you mind find it different.  I think from here on... I'll not post any more.  I keep having to defend myself and not worth my while.  It was a harmless comment between two members, one of which was not you.  You have offended me and will not be participating further.

 It takes time to develop a sense of the writers voice just the same as it takes time to make friends.  Not always a good idea to jump in with an opinion until you have either one or the other - yup that's me jumping in with my opinion LOL.  Penelope. please don't just lurk - I for one would miss your words of wisdom and your wit.  But if you feel you must lurk I hope you will PM me from time to time.  You have been an inspiration to me as well as many others - hope you will reconsider.

Hey Abby.  Clearly the old saying is correct "Opinions are like (insert body part) - everyone has one."  And on this board - as in real life - everyone has an opinion.  If one person is entitled to spout theirs, then everyone is - true?  My initial comment was *not* worth this foolishness.

I am sorry you feel offended, Patsy.  I hope you don't let my comment derail you from participating in a group you are attached to and get so much out of. 

I am sorry that people are comfortable insulting me because of a comment I made that was simply an observational one - and was not meant to be hurtful, and I don't believe was even framed in a hurtful way.  I did not say that you, Patsy, as a person, are rude.  If I mistook your comment to Charline then maybe others did as well (and it seems that that was indeed the case). 

Don't let this silliness take away from the friendships you have developed here by pulling back and "lurking."  That would be a real shame!   As for myself, I'm a little confused and offended that people I enjoy reading have taken to insulting me.  But I acknowledge that you don't know me so I won't allow it impact me.  And, this "fool" still has all of your backs and wishes you well :)
