He is doing great. He is growing well and is just a beautiful baby....I may be a little biased! Mom looks like she was run over by a truck! She refuses to let me help her and is exhausted. I called and left a voice mail asking what I could do to help her- bake, laundry, anything, and she didn't call back. Independent and stubborn.....I wonder where she gets that!!!  \
Nanny is exhausted from Christmas. I also had my tenant trash my duplex before be moved out without paying the rent for December. I can aford to have someone to clean and fix it up, so it will be a while before I can get rested. Grampie is just fine.
Thanks for asking. How are you and your family?

We're going well.  Very busy over the holidays with engraving and ornaments and such.

Trying to potty train Haley and it's not working...this morning we're in the car and I get a whiff of poo...so I say "Haley, mommy smells a stinky, did you poop in your pull-up?"

Without missing a beat she answers "No mommy, Haley not poop in my pull-up.  It must be YOU!"

I almost had to pull over to laugh....ah well, she'll get it...she knows when it's time but is just too stubborn to go or ask....and when I take her, she just sits there looking pretty...

*shrug*

The outlaws err...in-laws are coming for a visit so we  have to get ready for that.  Yanno, just day to day stuff over here...my sister was here from Edmonton for almost a month, it was really nice to see her.  She leaves today and it's kinda sad but ahh well, such is life I guess.  Everyone is as healthy as can be, cept for colds.

Wish there was a way to convince your daughter to accept some help.  She's actually adding to her risk of post-partum by being overtired....I've been there for almost 3 years now and it's just very very recently that I've started to lower the dosages of anti-depressants...don't want to alarm you or her but I hope she comes around and finally says ok, help me......

I've been thinking a lot about you and will continue to send good vibes along.

My potty training strategy  is to stick a favorite chocolate bar or treat on the bathroom wall, out of reach and I tell the trainee that it is for good girls who poo in  the potty. It worked 4 times for me.

When do the out-laws arrive?  I hope it isn't so stressful that you poop in your pull up! LOL
