Information Session January 12th 8:00 am WOOHOOOO

Well Dr B's office just called me 5 minutes ago to tell me that my information session is next Tuesday at 8am  wooohooo I am so excited....step number 2 down and the countdown is on...

Is there anyone else who is having an information session on Tuesday January 12th?

Thank you Charline, I am really glad they are having the info session before I leave for hte Dominican on the 16th....I would have been upset had the session been during the time I was going to be away.  I will have to behave myself while I am away....and not over do things..I am sure it won't be too long after my information session that I will be getting my surgery date....I am so excited more so each and every day now...wooohooo

How are you doing Charline?  How is your grandbaby doing?

WOW! You are on your way!! Be sure to tell you will be away for awhile. I had my info session on Dec 2 and got my pre admission on January 20 so it does not take long once you get started. Thi will be a fantastice NEW year for you. Good luck and keep us up to date step by srep.

Thank you Krista and Maggie...I am so excited and nervous at the same time now as I know this is one more step closer to the surgery.  I am also very releived that the informaton is before I leave for the Dominican on the 16th which is only for a wee****il the 23rd but I was so worried that I would get a call for the information session and find out that it was going to be scheduled for the week that I was going to be away.  So I am thinking that someone up there is on my side and giving me good vibes and luck.  I am very excited about this trip with my mother as I have never gone on a vacation like this in my life.  I am very pumped.   I am going to need a angel with me when I go for my surgery...and to let all of you guys know on here how things went on my surgery day....

Wow- that's so great Whitney! And - also great that it won't interfere with your trip south. A girl has got to play right? So glad for you. I met a person who has continued to be such an awesome friend and support for me at my information way back then. She has done so well - as have I. I wish the same for you. Take care and soak up some rays for me will ya?

Thank you Mary, I will certainly soak up some rays while I am on vacation but still use lots of sun screen I don't want to burn at all.  I am really looking forward to going away with my mom as her health is not the best although she is able to take this trip...but she is going through tests right now to find out if she has either Dementia or Alzhiemers and my mom always said that "A Mind is a Beautiful Thing"  I don't want to loose my mom to this but there is this possibility so for now I will cherish the good times I have had and the good times we will have on this vacation together and moving forward.  It has been a bit hard to take this in but as a family we are taking one day at a time.  This trip means allot to me to spend this time with her. 

I am looking forward to my surgery and moving to the next and new chapter in my life.  "The New Me" 

I am so glad I found this website when I did because everyone on here is a big inspiration to me and we are a great family together on here as well.
