I have been experimenting with something new to me: hemp hearts. In the morning, I eat half a cup of plain yogurt mixed with half a cup of blueberries and 5 TBSP of hemp hearts. I have to say that this 1 cup of food is a power breakfast.

Hemp hearts are an exccellent source of omega oils and protein. I do not even feel hungrt at lunch time! I bought them at Jean Coutu. I find this awesome since I have been having a difficult time with protein since surgery.

I recommend googling hemp hearts or stop by Jean Coutu to pick up the brochure they have.

Still training for the 5K resolution run on January 1st. I just hope it's not too cold. My kids are leaving Tuesday morning for Calgary to spend the holidays with their Dad. My youngest is so excited to go on the plane, she's fun to watch!

I tried that before and they are good.  I also heard that Chia Seeds are very healthy.
