is this normal

am having pain in left shoulder, is this normal. Altogether am starting to feel better, just a lot more discomfort than I had prepared myself for. Would I do it again? Thus far the answer is yes.

Yes it is often normal - the level of discomfort depends on the person.  Best to walk a bit frequently and take some gasX.  Someone even posted a study I think a little while ago about this too.

So sip, sip, sip, walk, walk, walk, rest, rest, rest, take your pain meds as directed and take some gasx.  Good luck for a smooth recovery.

Absolutely! I had pain in my shoulder for a very long time -- I"m talking probably the whole first year.
