I can eat! I can eat! I can eat!
Well at least in theory. The report from Dr Fallows said that there is swelling where my band is and it has narrowed the opening. The effect is like having the band too tight. So today he removed 2cc , leaving me with 2 cc. I can eat solids!!! We went for Chinese food tonight because it is my daughter's birthday and I ordered a combo plate. I managed to eat 2 garlic ribs, 1 chicken ball, a piece of broccoli, and a couple of forks of rice. I go back for a fill in 4 weeks.
This was my first experience with floro. It is the first time I was frozen for a fill or unfill- I like it. It was a good thing too because even with the floro, the doctor had a really hard time finding the port opening. He put the needle several times.
The challenge is not to gain weight over the next month....but I must have been a good girl this year for Santa to give me an unfill just in time for Christmas. LOL
