Here's the scoop on the scope!
Well I had a good sleep and the doc had a good look. He stretched my esophagus and I can drink easily. I am on clear fluids for a day- what else is new!! But he said that he saw irritation where the band is and he thinks that is the cause of my problems. He thinks that it is too tight, but Dr B is the expert.....Dr B said I was wide open?? I see Dr B in Thursday.

Your problem is probably your band, mine is not....I hope. I don't think the doctor today has seem many gastric bands; the nurse didn't know what I was talking about. I know what you mean about starving, but at least liquids are going down well now. I am supposed to stick to clear liquids today, but he did give me the OK for Boost.

Hopefully you will get to the bottom of this when you see doctor B. on Thursday. I fing it strange that one finds it wide open and one finds it too tight. Could it be that you are swollen? All the best on Thursday and i am glad that at least you can drink now. At least that's something,
