Scope tomorrow and fill on Thursday
I am still not able to eat. On Saturday I stopped at Shoppers and asked the pharmacist what he thought and she told me that I should definitely have seen a big improvement my now and to see my Dr on Monday. So in I went today. I must live right because the nurse told the receptionist to bring me right in. The doctor decided to refer me for a scope, but she said that I would probably have to go to Moncton because the waiting list here is 3 years long. Well this afternoon I got a call from a local specialist and I am being scoped tomorrow. i hope this is because of a luck cancellation, not because he thinks something is very wrong.
So I called Carolyn to see if Dr B wanted to see me on Thursday, given that I was not any better. He does. I have my appointment at 1:30. Anyone else going on Thursday? I found out that he is doing under fluoroscope....does that mean he will fill it to restriction?? I am wide open now.

Good luck. I am so sorry you are not able to eat still, how annoying. Please keep us posted on your scope. Didn't Dr. B do a scope when he diagnosed you with acid refux a few weeks ago?
I don't know what it means when Dr. B does it under Fluro. It means nothing to my surgeon, he just does it under Fluro cause he can't find the damn thing lol.
Hope your problems go away soon. Did he prescribe your Nexium? That's what worked the best when I was suffering from severe acid reflux. It also heals damaged tissue in the esophagus.
Either way Charline, you are doing great. Your scale is moving, and you are getting there! This seems to be a small bump in the road, but no stress :)
You will be at goal in no time!

I will be in Moncton Thursday, my appointment is with Dr. Roy for a unfill. I got a fill last Wednesday and I am too tight. I was doing okay with the liquids and puree if I took it really really really slow but now that is not even working for me. I spent the whole day with the garbage can beside me at work cuz no matter what I tried....I threw it up (thank gawd nobody was in the office today except for me....LOL). I can't even eat ice cream without throwing it up....I even broke down today and bought a chocolate bar in hopes that it would "slide" down easy. Nope.....it just sled easy coming up. So right at the moment I am taking very very very tiny sips of water to keep hydrated but it is gonna be a long wait til Thursday. I'm so friggin hungry at the moment that I would naw my arm off and eat it if I didn't think it would get stuck
I was under the impression you were going today :(
This is how my appt went. Had the barium they had a look and immediately Dr. Beausoleil said everything what where it should be; no slippage. Dr. Champagne, the radiologist, then accesssed the port, added 6 CC's, I took a sip, Dr. Beausoleil said, too much. He told DR. Champagne to remove 1 CC, I took another sip, and DR. Beausoleil said much better. He wished me happy holidays and sent me on my way! :)
BTW, I will be in Freddy Saturday morning at the UNB dome. We should try & meet up. Let me know how you make out.

Awe Kitty...on any other day I would have said yes because my appointment is at 1:00pm but I just found out literally 10 minutes ago that my hubbys truck (Transport Truck) is being towed to Moncton tomorrow and he will be travelling down with me Thursday to get it back so I don't know if I will be heading right back or not, I may have to wait around until its ready:o(
