Frustrated as H*ll

I still can't eat. My esophagus is too swollen.  Last  I tried to take my pills. They would not go down. I tried to force them down with water and I almost drowned myself!! LOL  The water came up and I was retching hard for several minutes. The meds were down just long enough to dissolve- Yuck!   I couldn't even drink water- imagine.  On top of that it was very painful. This morning I could drink my Glucerna so i didn't go to the hospital. How can I have acid reflux this bad and not ever have heartburn?? I made an appointment with my family doctor for Wednesday.  .....To add insult to injury I have a Christmas party tonight, I'm making slow cooker spare ribs and I can eat a bit!  I am starved!! Wahhhhh! I want my Mommy!

SO sorry you are still feeling yucky! Hopefully the meds will soon start doing the trick for you and you will start to feel better. Take care of yourself!

I am wide open and could eat everything in sight. Trying to make good choices and keeping portion sizes in check, but wow! Thursday can't come soon enough!

Oh yeah, to boot, at work on Thursday, they are having a tailgate party with hot dogs, burgers, salads, perogies and the like!

Oh Charline, I am so sorry to hear of your troubles!! Sounds like it really sucks!  I'll be so glad when you get this fixed and can go back to your restriction and back to real life again. Hang in there it's gotta get better from here. Makes it worse being this time of year. I'll keep you in my thoughts. Feel better soon.:)

Thanks guys. I was able to eat sone mushie foods tonight. I ate super slow. I am a bit swollen now, but at least I ate real food.
